Hostess for 2024: Elisia Alonso is a lifestyle reporter and host on WOOD TV’s eightWest. Elisia made her return home to West Michigan last year and became a first-time mom. Elisia is looking forward to connecting with women in all walks of life at Plainwell Ladies Night! It’s her hope to make you laugh hard and celebrate sisterhood.

What to expect: Grab a swag bag at Plainwell Flowers, 250 bags are handed out, 50 bags at the top of each hour. Limited supply of bags. Eight of the bags will have a $25 Ladies Loot coupon, thanks to Jaqua Realtors, these can be used at the participating Plainwell Businesses. Grab a cocktail from one of two bars in our Island City Social District while shopping,  there will be DIY projects, lots of in store specials, music on the plaza. The downtown Restaurants/Bars will all have specialty cocktails and food specials that will continue on after 7 pm.
 
Pop-Up Give-a-Ways – super fun part of the night, you never know where we will show up. Listen for the Cow Bell and be prepared to pull out something from your pockets, purse or bags, such as a band aide, a nail file, a thimble you just never know…. You may want to brush up on your history, as we have been known to ask questions about the history of Plainwell too. The pop-up giveaways are gift cards from local businesses ranging in price from $5 - $30.
 
We have 3 Grand Prizes – entering is easy, just spend $10 at any of the participating retail shops and get entered into the drawing. The more shops you spend $10 or more in the more chances you have to win….
 1^st place -  $500 Gift Card to Stafford’s Historic Lodging & Waterfront Dining
2^nd place - $225 Plainwell Pamper You Package – includes gift cards from Hart’s Jewelry, River Bend Yoga Studio, Healing Hands Massage, and Prevalent Salon.
3^rd place – Two $50 Gift Cards to Dog & The Bank Restaurant.
