Plainwell is known as “The Island City” because one cannot enter downtown from any direction without first crossing a bridge. As you plan your visit make sure to include one or all of the seven parks that offer a variety of recreational activities, stroll along the Riverwalk trail that encompasses the downtown and connects to three parks. Rent a Kayak from Fannie Pell Park, enjoy the Dog Park or play on one of the 5 pickel ball courts in Thurl Cook Park.
