Early and K-12 Education
Plainwell takes education very seriously. Consistently outperforming state and national averages, Plainwell Community Schools’ campus consists of one high school, middle school and three elementary schools and has proven its success and commitment at providing quality education to our community. Additionally, an alternative high school is located just east of Plainwell’s Central Business District. Serving Plainwell as well as portions of the surrounding communities in Allegan, Kalamazoo and Barry counties, Plainwell’s schools continue to equip students of all ages to succeed.

Plainwell also provides adult/business training services at Michigan Career and Technical where high quality, flexible, user-friendly training results in improved job performance for companies and individuals. Therefore, Plainwell is fully capable of providing a talented workforce for today and the future.
