This project would replace the Plainwell #2 Dam (the diversion dam that creates the Plainwell millrace that makes Plainwell the Island City) with a structure that would hold upstream pool elevation but allow for fish and recreational passage. The project will replace the failing structure at the outflow of the raceway near Plainwell City Hall with a stable structure that would allow fish and recreational passage.
