Pay BillWelcome to the City of Plainwell’s property information and online bill payment. We are pleased to offer our customers choices in payment options for water, sewer, and tax bills. You can also view all of your property details. 

Payments are processed through Point & Pay. This service is a safe and reliable way to pay online.  A convenience fee charged by Point & Pay will add 3% to the bill, and will show as a separate charge on your card statement.  The exact amount of fee will be shown prior to completing the transaction.  The minimum fee charged will be $2.00.

You may pay by using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.

If your water has already been turned off or is scheduled to be turned off today, please call 269-685-6821 to speak to customer service. Your payment may not be processed in time and your utilities could be shut off. Customer should always call us for the most updated information.

If you choose to pay your taxes online, they must be paid by 5:00 pm on the due date to avoid penalties.

How to Pay Your Taxes or Utility Bill

In Person:

Utility payments can be made in person at the City Hall located 211 N. Main Street on the top floor, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays.  Payments may be made with cash, check, money order or credit card.

Payment Dropbox:

A drive-up drop box is located in the parking area of Fannie Pell Park near the City Hall Building at 211 N. Main Street. There is a City Hall intercom located next to the drop box, if you have any questions.  Business days are Monday through Friday, except holidays.  Payments put in the drop box are processed the next business day.

How to Pay Your Parking Ticket

In Person:

Parking tickets can be paid in person at the Police Department, 119 Island Ave or at City Hall located at 211 N. Main St. on the top floor, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays.  Payments can be made with cash, check or money order. 

Your ticket is also an envelope, you may seal your payment inside and send it via U.S mail. Don't forget to affix a letter-rate postage stamp.
